Vintage Pottery Vase
Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage art pottery vase. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This cabinet vase stands about 3 1/8 inches tall, and it has a maximum width of approximately 3 inches. It has a glossy, purple glaze. This would be a fine addition to a vintage art pottery collection.
Identification
This vintage piece is unsigned, and the exact age is not known. The shape is reminiscent of pots produced at Iowa State College or even University of North Dakota School of Mines. The actual maker is not known though.
Condition
This pot displays well overall, with no chips. There are two very fine, opposing vertical hairline cracks (each is about 1 inch to 1 1/4 inches long, from the rim downward). One hairline is shown in Photo 4, and the other has a similar appearance. The vase has fine, unstained crazing and light wear. Variations in glazing are as made, including a couple of tiny dabs of blue glaze. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.

1. Payments

Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
