Vintage Ski Mask Gray Face Covering Winter

Very old skii mask, with neck covering also, think it's wool,but not sure. Could be a Halloween mask too I guess, so old couldn't find any infro on it. Guessing from early 1900s, but don't know. Not bad shape to be so old ,see pics,and ask any questions you might have. Thanks for looking at this very unusual piece.
