Not only was he a productive hitter he also excelled in playing two of the most difficult positions in baseball- Shortstop and Center field. Yount in the 1980s had more hits than any other player in that decade and ultimately finished his career with 3,142 hits making him a member of the 3,000 hits club. Robin Yout went on to win 2 MVP awards in both positions as Shortstop and Center fielder. In his 1982 MVP season he led the Brewers to the World Series.
