This set has some minor issues.  Insignificant, IMO.  These issues are internal and should not interfere with your enjoyment of this set, for display or for running.  Ready to run.  Were it not for these minor issues, I would have classified this set as Like New.  PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING EXPLANATION BEFORE BUYING.
    1.  All 6 Cars look great.
    2.  All 6 Cars tested great.  Smooth, stable runners, with steady stream lighting.
3  .----  HOWEVER, THERE ARE THREE INTERNAL ISSUES.----
(Issue # 1).----TWO PASSENGER DOORS HAVE BEEN GLUED SHUT.---- Specifically, the 2 passenger doors (one on each side) of the Martin Van Buren Baggage/Lounge Car.  I have neatly glued them shut from the inside. They are secure and stable.  No glue visible, with lights On or Off.  Both Doors are properly positioned in the door frames.  They look like they they would open, like all other doors on the cars in this set.  It is only if you were to press on either of these 2 Doors would you discover that they do not open.    The 2 Baggage Doors on this Van Buren Car, as well as all doors on the other 5 Cars, open & shut properly.
(Issue # 2).  AN INTERNAL POST INSIDE THE SHELL OF THE OBSERVATION CAR, NEAR THE REAR, HAS BROKEN OFF.    As manufactured, the post rose from a drilled hole in the floor and extended upwards into the ceiling.  Since it had already broken off, I removed the post from the Car.  (I have enclosed it in a separate envelope--see 11th photo.).  Its apparent purpose was to prevent the floor from sliding.  However, in fact, it's not needed.  Even without it, the floor will not move, either while the car is parked or when running.  You would only notice that the post is missing if you were to peer into the rear portion of the Observation Car from very close range when the car is lighted and not moving, specifically looking for a post.  To me it seems not worthwhile to completely disassemble this Car just to reattach an unneeded, not noticeable, and probably non-prototypical, internal post.
(Issue # 3)  THERE ARE 6 MISSING CLEAR, CELLOPHANE WINDOW PANES:
Two are panes from small doors of the Tilden Parlor car.     Two are from small doors of the Fish Coach car.     One pane is from one of the small doors of the RPO Car.     The final missing pane is from a side passenger window of the Observation car.  In my jar of misc. O gauge parts I found a pane that is identical to one of the small panes.  I enclose it in the envelope with the post--see 11th photo.   You could buy a small cellophane sheet at the hardware store & cut out pieces for the panes, if you wanted to make and install replacements.  The factory glues these panes to the shells from the insides of the cars.  So you'd have to disassemble the applicable 4 Cars to attach the window panes.   It is rather common for some window panes to fall out in O gauge aluminum passenger cars.  Since the missing  window panes are relatively few in number and because their absence is not noticeable (whether the car is lighted or not lighted) unless you were specifically and very intently looking for them at very close range; it seems to me to be not worthwhile to disassemble aluminum cars (not an easy task) for the purpose of regluing a few clear windows panes.
Any floating passenger figures?    No, when shipped to you.    However,  I can't guarantee that one or more passenger figures won't detach in shipment.  Usually doesn't happen.  But buyer assumes that risk.  To minimize this risk I'm going to ship this boxed and factory cartoned set inside a 2d outer shipping carton containing additional cushioning packing materials all around.
