BALDOR 359T MOTOR JEWELRY DENTAL POLISHING LATHE
BALDOR 359T Polishing Lathes for precision, trouble-free polishing. All lathes are made of heavy construction, dynamically balanced rotor and shaft provides vibration free with rubber feet minimize vibration and quiet operation. This motor is widely used in the Jewelry and Dental industry.

will never be affected by dust and debris.  A High Performance heavy duty motor made for many years of continuous trouble free use. This is the Baldor 359T single speed 1/2 HP polishing motor with taper fit shafts.
Baldor taper fit shafts use special taper fit spindles that slide onto the taper fit shafts and then are "tapped" at the spindle end  with a soft wood hammer for a secure friction fit.  Spindles are removed by rotating the spindle removing ring pins.  As the screw-fit rings rotate out, they push the friction fit spindles off the shaft.
The 359T measures 14-1/4" from tip to tip of the taper fit shafts. The shaft height is 5-1/4" measured from the middle of the shafts.
